Big Data – Implications for Research on Organizations and Technology (OCIS PDW)

This OCIS-sponsored PDW will take place on Saturday, August 6 8:30 – 10:30 am at there Academy of Management Conference.
We have assembled an outstanding group of experts who will discuss this topic from different perspectives focusing on implications for research that would be of special interest to OCIS members, as well as the larger AOM membership, including the opening up new areas of research as well as need for new methods.
The session will include a keynote talk by Alex (Sandy) Pentland – MIT and a panel discussion with following participants:

Prof. Wanda Orlikowski This is just a reminder that the OCIS Division keynote address (Sponsored by the iSchool at Syracuse University) will be given by Prof. Wanda Orlikowski (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) at 4:45PM in Vancouver Convention Center room 220, 221, 222. This will be followed by the OCIS Division business meeting and the OCIS reception. We look forward to seeing you all there!
